With pain in my heart, I will be selling my 1968 Giulia...
I bough this magnificent car from its first owner in Italy in 1995 when it had about 68.000 original KM's on the clock. In the mean time, the total is 81.000 KM ( = an average of 2.000 KM per year over the past 40 years!). This car is still exactly as it was when it was delivered to its first owner by the Alfa Romeo dealer in Livorno (Italy) in 1968. Back then, the owner opted for a couple of extra's which can still be found on the car:
Of course the car comes with the original service booklet. This car has never been welded or resprayed! The color is Verde Muscio (Moss Green) and came standard with a double headlight front grill. Even though a 1300 TI is supposed to come with a single headlight grill according to the various catalogs, I have seen several 1968 Moss Green 1300 TI's with this set-up over the course of the years and it is not a dealer modification. The, now-deceased, first owner confirmed to me that this was how the car was delivered to him. The car is exceptionally straight as can be seen in the pictures. The is one miniscule dent at the bottom end of the right rear fender which was already there when I bought the car and I didn't fix it to maintain the car's originality. The car was once entered at the SCARB (Dutch Alfa Romeo Owners Club) Concours d'Elegance at the Paleis het Loo where it won a prize in the preservation class. Of course this car has to achieve a price in accordance with its condition. As there is no need to sell this car so I will ONLY sell it to a likeminded connoisseur who appreciates the car's originality and will maintain it like I did.
